This Privacy Policy explains how First Coast Roof Network ("we", "us", "our"), operator of alignroofingco.com, collects, uses, shares and protects information about visitors to this website and people who submit a request through it.

1. Who we are, and what we do with your request

First Coast Roof Network is an independent directory and lead referral service. We are not a roofing contractor, we hold no contractor licence, and we do not perform roofing work. The core purpose of this site is to take a homeowner's request and pass it to independent third-party roofing contractors and to marketing partners who work with such contractors, so that they can contact you about your project.

Please read that again before you submit the form: the information you give us is shared with third-party contractors and partners so that they can call, text and email you. That is the whole point of the service. If you do not want to be contacted by third parties, do not submit the form.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, telephone number, email address and ZIP code.
• The service you selected, the urgency you selected, and the city associated with the page you used.
• Anything you type into the free-text description field.
• Whether you checked the consent box, and the date and time you did so.

Information collected automatically

• The page and full URL of the form you submitted, and marketing parameters present in that URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid).
• Your browser user-agent string and whether the device is a mobile or desktop device.
• Standard server and hosting logs, which may include IP address, request time and referring page.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data or health information. Please do not put any of that into the description field.

3. How we use information

• To match your request with independent local roofing contractors and to transmit it to them.
• To contact you about your request by phone, SMS or email.
• To operate, secure, debug and improve the website.
• To measure which marketing sources produce requests.
• To comply with law and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, including keeping records of consent.

4. How we share information

• Independent roofing contractors in or near the area you identified. Once your request is transmitted, each contractor is an independent controller of that information and handles it under its own privacy practices. We do not control what they do with it.
• Marketing and lead-distribution partners that route requests to contractors.
• Service providers that host the site and store submissions on our behalf, including our hosting provider and our database provider.
• Legal and safety recipients where disclosure is required by law, subpoena or court order, or is necessary to protect rights, safety or property.
• A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets.

We do not sell information to data brokers for unrelated purposes. However, sharing your contact details with contractors and lead partners so they can market their services to you may be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising" under some state privacy laws. See section 8 for how to opt out.

5. Telephone, SMS and TCPA consent

When you check the consent box and submit the form, you provide your prior express written consent, under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227) and its implementing regulations, to be contacted by First Coast Roof Network and by the independent contractors and partners to whom your request is transmitted, at the telephone number you provided. This includes:

• calls and text messages placed using an automatic telephone dialing system;
• calls using an artificial or prerecorded voice; and
• SMS or MMS messages,

even if the number you provide is listed on a federal, state or corporate Do Not Call registry.

Consent is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

How to revoke consent

You may revoke your consent at any time, by any reasonable means, and we will honour it. Specifically:

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to stop messages from that sender. Reply HELP for help.
• Calls: tell the caller you are revoking consent and asking to be placed on their internal do-not-call list.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link, or write to privacy@alignroofingco.com.
• In writing to us: email privacy@alignroofingco.com with the phone number and email address you used, and we will suppress them and stop contacting you.

Revoking consent with us stops our contact and our onward transmission. Because your request may already have been transmitted to independent contractors before you revoke, you may also need to tell those contractors directly. We will help where we can, but we do not control their systems.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site is deliberately light on tracking. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on this page by default. Where analytics or advertising measurement is used, it may set cookies or similar identifiers; you can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing where state law requires it.

7. Data retention and security

We retain request submissions for as long as needed for the purposes above and to keep proof of consent, then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights by state

California (CCPA as amended by the CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed;
• Access a copy of that personal information in a portable form;
• Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (name, email, phone, ZIP, IP address); commercial information (the service requested); internet activity (pages viewed, referring URL, user-agent); and inferences limited to the type of project you are likely to need. We disclose identifiers and commercial information to roofing contractors and lead partners for their marketing purposes. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

To exercise a California right, including "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information", email privacy@alignroofingco.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request". You may use an authorised agent; we will ask for proof of authorisation. We will verify your identity using the contact details you originally submitted.

Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states

Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island, generally have rights to confirm, access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data and certain profiling. Where the applicable state law provides an appeal process, you may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the statutory period.

Nevada

Nevada residents may submit a verified request to opt out of the sale of certain covered information.

Send any request to privacy@alignroofingco.com. We respond within the time limits set by the applicable law.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party sites and content

Business listings, ratings and review text shown in directory blocks are provided by Google and are subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices. Links to contractor websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

11. No insurance or legal advice

This site publishes general information about roofing, the Florida Building Code and how Florida insurance carriers commonly treat roof age and condition. None of it is insurance advice or legal advice. We are not an insurance agency, an insurance producer, an insurance adjuster or a public adjuster, and we do not represent policyholders in claims. Questions about your coverage, your deductibles, your deadlines and your claim go to your own carrier, your own agent or a licensed professional.

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be signposted on this page.
